This policy explains when fees paid to GRU Universal Consulting LLP, which trades as gruworks, are refunded. We sell consulting services and audits, not goods. No payment is taken on this website yet To confirm: update when Razorpay payments go live: we send an invoice, and you pay by bank transfer.

1. Your signed agreement comes first

Every engagement is set out in a signed agreement with a statement of work. It sets your fee, billing, term, notice and refunds. This policy describes how our standard agreement works. Where your signed agreement says something different, your agreement applies.

2. How we bill a monthly engagement

• The monthly fee is invoiced at the end of each month, for the month worked.
• Each invoice is payable within seven days of receipt.
• GST at 18% is added only to invoices for clients in India. Invoices for clients outside India carry no GST.
• Some agreements bill differently, for example in cycles of three months or as one payment for a fixed term. Your statement of work says which applies to you.

3. Ending a monthly engagement

• You or we can end an engagement by giving 30 days' notice in writing. Where your agreement sets a minimum term or cycle, that applies as well.
• Fees and approved expenses for the work done up to the end date are payable.
• When the engagement ends, we hand over the completed work as your agreement sets out.

4. Audits

• We agree the tier and the delivery date with you on the intro call.
• When you pay: the full fee, when you buy the audit. You receive an official receipt of payment.
• Refunds: work on your audit starts as soon as your payment arrives, so audit fees cannot be refunded once paid.
• Audit fee credited if you sign: if you sign the engagement contract after your audit, the audit fee is credited against your first monthly invoice. For example, after a Full audit (₹20,000), the first month of the ₹1,00,000 monthly package is billed at ₹80,000, plus GST for clients in India. To confirm: whether the Light and Detailed audit fees are credited the same way, and within what time of the audit the contract must be signed

5. Advertising spend and other third-party costs

• Advertising spend, and platform, domain, hosting, app and similar fees, are your costs and are not part of our fee.
• Where you pay a platform directly, any refund of unspent budget follows that platform's own rules.
• Where we pay a cost on your behalf, we do so with your prior written approval when your agreement requires it, and you reimburse it. [TO CONFIRM: that reimbursed costs already spent are not refundable]
• To confirm: where advertising spend is billed on our invoice, what happens to any unspent amount when the engagement ends

6. If something is wrong with an invoice

Tell us at growth@gruworks.com within [TO CONFIRM: days] of receiving the invoice, with the invoice number and what you think is wrong. Pay the part you do not dispute as usual. If we agree an amount is not owed, we correct it. To confirm: by a revised invoice or a credit note, and a refund if it was already paid

7. How to ask for a refund

Email growth@gruworks.com with your name, company, the invoice number and the reason. We reply within To confirm: business days.

• How we pay: to the original source of the payment.
• When: within 31 days of the date of your request.
• Currency: in the currency you paid in.
• Taxes and charges: we deduct GST, any other taxes that apply and any service or payment charges, and refund the rest.

8. Your rights under law

Nothing in this policy takes away any right you have under law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
